Popular touch-screen smartphone game "Temple Run’’ to be replicated in a movie

If you are a game lover that also loves playing smartphone games, especially when it has to with touch screen smartphones, then you most probably have played the popular endless running game ‘’Temple Run’’.

Temple run game was released firs on iOS imagi studio in 2011, but it is now widely available not only on iOS platform but also on androids. Temple run is a very entertaining and wonderful game. While on the game, you need to choose a high speed runner capable of running almost endlessly and thereby covering great distances in thousands of metres.

The runner steals an idol from a temple and run endlessly for his/her dear life as he/she is being chased by a gorilla-like animal. On the process of running, you get to come across so many obstacles along the way which must be overcome and also escape from the ever chasing gorilla. As you run, you get to pick coins that are laid on the roads and you also get to jump onto different objects that energizes and boost your speed, protects you from obstacles and increases your life span. One part I like about the game is that among the runners that you can choose to run with, the popular Jamaican world number one runner Usain Bolt is one of them.

If you have not played the temple run game, I have a feeling that you are missing something here, because the game is better enjoyed when being played that just hearing or reading about it. I have personally played and enjoyed it to level 7 of the game. I have not gotten pass level 7 and I am still facing some challenges bypassing level &, but hope to get pass to level 8 as I continue to play.

Today, information just reaching us is that just like other games in the past that have been depicted in movies, the temple run game is also getting under way to be replicated in a movie, and the good thing about it is that the movie producer that is going to be behind it, is no other person than the ever scintillating producer in the person of David Herman. Whenever David Herman’s name is mentioned, the movie that immediately echoes in the minds of many is the highly rated and vastly soled Harry Potter movie series.

David Herman was the brain and producer that reinvigorated the Harry Potter novel written by J.K. Rowling by turning it into eight fantasy films series that started with Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone and culminated with Harry Potter and the deathly harrows.

This time around, the much revered film producer name is mentioned again, but not for another Harry Potter series but for the Temple Run movie from the popular Temple Run game which will focus on an explorer, who stole an idol from a temple and chased by demonic forces, which is exactly what the game depicts.

Finally, whenever the temple run movie finally comes in place, I will definitely find a way to lay hand on it and watch it because movies like that are best enjoyed when one has played the game or read about it in a particular book before watching, it becomes very interesting and easier to comprehend.

PlayStation 4 Launches on November

I could remember way back then, growing up as a little child and because of my love for video games, I was nicknamed ‘’game master’’. And in today’s world, not only kids but adults as well loves and cherishes playing the video game, and whenever video game is mentioned, PlayStation (PS) which has now almost become every household brand name of video games immediately comes to the minds of many. And so, the question here is ‘what is that that actually make the PlayStation console video game absolutely so unique?’ for me , I will simply say quality and the near perfect gaming experience that one usually feel when playing the PS.

For many years now, Sony Computer Entertainment has thrilled the world and mostly game lovers with their PlayStation console video games. To say the list, this Japanese company seems not to be relenting at all but rather what can be said of them is that they are still waxing strong in the game industry and making sure they keep the ball rolling when it comes to new and improved PlayStation console releases.

For the game lovers, like I myself, taking you down memory lane of the different PlayStation consoles that have been released, so that we can actually remember where we were coming from, we could recall that the first PlayStation was released in the year 1994, and then, it was simply known as PlayStation. Following the release of this PlayStation comes the release of PlayStation 2, commonly known as PS2 in 2000 and this is where the PlayStation video game went viral both in sales and the number of people playing it. PS2 was everywhere not until six (6) years later that PS3 came out to replace it. Almost 8 years now that PS3 has been in the market, for me I will say that the PS2 still reign supreme in my location, not because PS2 is better than PS3, but just because what I may say the high cost of obtaining the PS3 CD plate.

Still on the PS3 and still even pushing further, just yesterday, Sony in an event show in Cologne Germany confirmed that the PlayStation 4 console video game will be officially launched on November 15 of this year and that the console will be going for a price tag of $399. So we are for sure expecting a highly improved version of the PS3 and what we should do is just to wait patiently and see how the PlayStation 4 will turn out to be. One thing I believe is that Sony hardly disappoints.

‘’Ouya’’ the latest addition in the console world

Ouya is an upcoming video game console running its own version of the Android operating system. Julie Uhrman is a female game industry veteran that founded the project.

The Ouya is expected to feature Ouya store for application and games designed specifically for Ouya platform. It will also include the TwitchTV application and access to on-live video game streaming service. The OS will be based on the modified version of the Android 4.1 Jelly bean followed up with an easy to use hardware that just an ordinary standard screwdriver will just be enough to open it up for possible adjustment. This developmental kit system is slated for June this year.

For me I give credit to Julie Urman and it goes a long way to consolidate the saying that what a man can do, a woman can also do, even better as the case may be. Let all watch and see whether the Ouya will stand out on its own, who can tell for now, this console might compete favourably with likes of Sony PlayStation and the Xbox 360.

Orbis

Wondering what that (Orbis) could mean! Can you guess? Ok, do you remember when PS3 was released?

The Japanese are on it again. The console world is about to witness another series of the Sony playstation game. PS4 is in the air, codenamed Orbis will be the 4^th home video game console to be produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. Game lovers across the world will be joyfully waiting for this, as the rumour of its release date filters the air. The Orbis (PS4) is expected to have a redesigned controllers with touchpad, improved 3D gaming in full 1080p HD, cloud gaming, better motions and a deeper online gaming experience. Remember sometime in November, 2006 when PS3 was released and later on, the Japanese company went ahead to mention that they will not be making any major upgrade on the current PS3, not until after 10years or thereabout. But what do you have to say now, this is 2013, are they being too hasty or is there hand itching them to let the world know the stuff they are made up of? To me, this is real technology in action!
